Rachel Neal is the Associate Director of Engagement Strategies at Planetree International, a mission-driven nonprofit setting the global standard for person-centered excellence across the continuum of care. Dedicated to partnering with healthcare organizations to plan and deliver a personalized roadmap to person-centered excellence, Rachel works with leaders and caregivers around the world to conduct gap analyses, progress assessments, coaching, and consulting.
Rachel comes to Planetree with twelve years of experience in healthcare, predominantly with older adults and individuals living with dementia in Atlantic Canada. She has worked in a wide range of care settings operationalizing adult day programs, providing therapeutic recreation, and assisting with research based in sleep and dementia correlation. Most recently, Rachel was providing consultation and education to healthcare and community projects related to person-centered care, gerontology, and dementia.
With a passion for creating change through education, support, and collaboration, Rachel’s work aims to enhance services toward more person-centered approaches that celebrate the stories, strengths, and unique needs of individuals accessing healthcare around the world.
